NetSuite and NSPB Connectivity

High-Level Steps

In order to establish the connection between NetSuite to NSPB, the following steps to be followed

  1. Enable the required features in your NetSuite account
  2. Install the SuiteApp.
  3. Create user records for NSPB users. These user records must have the NSPB Integration role
  4. Set up token-based authentication (TBA) for PBCS users
  5. Configure NSPB connection.
1. Enabling required Features

Click the link for the Oracle NetSuite PBCS Sync SuiteApp. To enable the features, go to Setup -> Company > Enable Features, and click the SuiteCloud subtab

  • Custom Records
  • Client SuiteScript
  • Server SuiteScript
  • Token-Based Authentication
  • OAUTH2.0

And click on Save.

2. Install NetSuite NSPB Suite Bundle
  1. Login to NetSuite Application.
  2. Go to Customization >SuiteBundler> Search & Install Bundles.
  1. In the Keywords box, enter NSPB Sync. 
  2. Click Search.
  1. Click the link for the Oracle NetSuite PBCS Sync SuiteApp.
  2. On the Bundle Details page, click Install.

This completes Bundle Installation.

3. Setup Integration Role and User

We need to assign the Integration Role to User.

Note : User Should be Netsuite Administrator.

Type Emp: User_ID (The user id which will be used for the integration) – which selects the User from User directory and click on Edit.

Below screen will appear when we click on Edit. Now scroll down a bit, click on Access in Subtab

Add Role: PBCS Integration and click on save as shown below

4. Create Access Token

Setup-> User and Roles -> Access Token -> New Access Token ->

Select –> Internal NS PBCS Application NS ->User ->PBCS and New Custom Application -> Save

It will Generate New Token. Note Down The Token iD and Secret.

Note : Copy Token Id and Token Secret. This will be used in NSPB configuration.

  1. Configure NSPB Token Based Authentication
  2. Create Source System

B ) Configure Source System

Go to NSPB -> Data Exchange -> Configure Connections -> Select the Connection Button -> Select the application

Then Edit –> Then Select Default – Enter Token Key and Secret – >Test Connection -> Then OK.

C ) Initialize Source System

Click on the source system and Initialize the source system, This will bring all eligible Saved Searches From NetSuite to NSPB as a data Source.

Note: Please change the ID for the saved searches to connect between NetSuite and NSPB.

ID should be

Xxxx_nspbcs_yyyyyyy
